Between 1969 and 1974, and again between 1989 and 2002, Nissan produced a high-performance version of its Skyline coupe called the Nissan Skyline GT-R. This car proved to be iconic for Nissan and achieved much fame and success on both road and track. The Nissan GT-R, now a standalone model no longer based on the Skyline, has heritage in the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Similar to the later generations of the Skyline GT-R, the GT-R is four-wheel drive with a twin-turbo 6 cylinder engine and has the signature four round tail lights. However, the GT-R is an entirely new model, sharing little with its Skyline siblings and is a complete redesign from previous Skylines, rather than an incremental evolution; the four-wheel-steering HICAS system has been removed and the former straight-6 RB26DETT engine has been replaced with a new V6 VR38DETT. Because of the GT-R's heritage, the chassis code for the all-new version has been called CBA-R35, or 'R35' for short (where CBA is the prefix for emission standard), carrying on the naming trend from previous Skyline GT-R generations. Read Entire Description PLEASE!! This is a 2009 Nissan GT-R it currently has a salvage title. I bought the car to fix and put in over $28,000 Fixing it. It's not perfect yet but it's well on its way. It was in a front end collision with a good amount of damage. See last picture and that is the car before repairs as I bought it. With the damage we decided that the best way to repair it was to pull the motor and make sure it was done correctly. Once the motor was pulled the frame rail ends were replaced and straightened on a frame machine specifically meant for aluminum. The hood has a little damage on the corners from shipping. Passenger seat airbag deployed and will need to be replaced. Most people pull the stock seats so I was't to worried about it. Engine runs good, transmission shifts fine. NO check engine light or transmission codes. ASK QUESTIONS ill be sure to answer them all. Don't waste my time with low ball offers I won't respond to them. You will have to buy the bigger injectors as the car has downpipes and midpipe. I will include the cobb accessport w/ TCM tuning capabilities.Title is in hand and ready to go. The car is ready for a rebuilt title I just didn't do it because it will save the next owner a lot on taxes.
